A Space for All: Why Studio Nine Exists
If you’re reading this, welcome. For a long time I was nervous to put words like community and support into one sentence without making them feel like marketing slogans.
But that’s exactly what Studio Nine is.
It started as a bright, flexible room in the heart of Southport — a space with good light, parking, a kitchenette and all the little practical things so you can actually focus on your work. Therapists, coaches, creatives, freelancers, wellness practitioners and people with ideas we barely understand ourselves have used the space to sit with their work, run workshops, film content, take meetings or host small events without the usual faff.
That room became something more because people brought themselves in. Their ambition, their vulnerability, their desire to grow.

So we didn’t stop at the room.
Studio Nine now offers support that helps you show up — online and in your business. The social media confidence work isn’t a separate service you tack on. It’s a bridge. It helps you:
• feel less overwhelmed about posting
• get comfortable on camera
• build consistency without overthinking
• speak in your voice, not someone else’s language
That’s how the space and the support link. You might come because you need a quiet place to work for a day — then realise you want help showing up online. Or you start with confidence sessions, then book the studio for your own event or workshop. They feed into one another, not compete.

And then there’s the magazine. Southport’s Journey is our way of saying that the stories around us matter — your stories matter. It’s full of people and ideas, not press releases. It highlights creativity, wellbeing and the practical side of building something real in our town.

So where does that leave this monthly note?
This will be a space where I:
• reflect on what we’re learning
• share what’s happening here
• and point to the things that can actually help you without hype
No noise. Just intention.
This month’s magazine is out and it’s full of the people quietly building the culture around us. If you haven’t had a look yet, it’s a good Sunday read.
There’s space here in all the forms people need right now — a room to think, support to grow your confidence, and a platform to be seen.
If any of that feels like a fit for where you are right now, let’s talk or book a visit.
