February Newsletter
Hello,
February feels different.
There’s a little more steadiness in the air now. Not necessarily clarity says everything is solved — but a sense that things are beginning to take shape in quieter, more grounded ways.
At Studio Nine, this month has carried a lot of meaning for us, and we wanted to pause to share it with you.
A new voice, now live
This month, our “A Day in the Life” podcast has officially hit the airwaves.
It’s a project that’s been quietly forming behind the scenes — built around conversation rather than performance, and curiosity rather than self-promotion. Each episode offers a glimpse into how people really live, work, think, and create — through the lens of an ordinary day, not just the polished highlights.
If you enjoy thoughtful listening, we’d love you to:
- Listen
- Download
- Subscribe
- And share with someone who appreciates slower, more human conversations
And if, as you listen, you find yourself thinking “I’d love to be part of that” — there are still slots available. It’s very much an open invitation to people who feel aligned with how we do things here.
One year of the magazine — and what that really means
February also marks one full year of the magazine.
What started as an idea — tentative, hopeful, and built on instinct — is now something tangible, consistent, and deeply rooted in community. That feels worth acknowledging.
Reaching this milestone isn’t about numbers or scale. It’s about continuity. About showing up month after month. About telling stories that matter. About backing something quietly and seeing it through.
And it wouldn’t exist without the support of the Studio Nine family.
To everyone who has:
- Advertised
- Featured
- Collaborated
- Encouraged
- Shared kind words
- Taken a chance
Thank you. Truly.
This milestone belongs to all of us.
The wider Studio Nine picture
As ever, Studio Nine continues to be a space for people at different stages of growth — especially those navigating change, confidence, or creative direction.
We’re currently welcoming:
- Studio hire — for focused work, thinking days, planning, small meetings, or stepping out of your usual environment
- Social media support — for individuals and businesses wanting clarity, confidence, and sustainability online
- Social media confidence classes — gentle, practical sessions for showing up without pressure or burnout
- Magazine collaborations & advertising — for those who value thoughtful storytelling over noise
Some people arrive with a clear idea of what they need. Others arrive with a feeling. Both are welcome.
A moment of gratitude
Reaching one year with the magazine — and launching new projects like the podcast — has reminded us why Studio Nine exists in the first place.
It exists because people need spaces that don’t rush them.
Because confidence grows better when it’s supported.
Because community makes creative work braver.
We’re incredibly proud of what’s been built so far — not because it’s loud, but because it’s honest.
And we’re grateful to you for being part of that journey, in whatever way you are.
As we move further into the year, we’ll continue to share our writing, open up new opportunities to work together, and create space for ideas that are still forming.
Until then, thank you for being here.
Warmly,
Lizzie
Studio Nine
