A Day in the Life Podcast
A Day in the Life Podcast is a conversational podcast hosted by Lizzie Barnett through Studio Nine and recorded by MAF Photography. Built around honest conversation and storytelling, the podcast gives founders, professionals, creatives and community voices the opportunity to sit on the recognisable green couch and share more about the person behind the work.
The ethos is simple. People connect with people. A Day in the Life moves beyond polished interviews and surface-level networking to create conversations that feel natural, engaging and relatable. By the end of each episode, the aim is for listeners to feel like they truly understand the guest, their journey, their challenges and what drives them.

Guests complete tongue-in-cheek celebrity riders, despite realistically receiving tea, biscuits and a nearby phone charger
↓ The green couch has quickly become part of the identity of the podcast, with guests and listeners increasingly wanting to be part of the conversation themselves. Through podcasting, social media clips and wider promotion, guests are also supported in strengthening their public-facing communication, audience connection and professional visibility in a way that feels conversational rather than performative.
