About Studio Nine
Hi name is Lizzie and I built Studio Nine around one simple belief.
Clear communication changes how people see you.
I work with businesses, local projects and growing organisations to help them speak more clearly online, strengthen their visibility, and build trust through the way they show up.
My work now sits across social media strategy, workshops, podcasting, radio, presenting, written content and founder visibility.
But speaking has been part of my life long before Studio Nine existed.
From the age of five, I trained in Guildhall and LAMDA speaking awards, performing in front of audiences of up to 2,000 people. That early confidence in communication shaped everything that came after.
Today, I use that experience to help other people find the language, structure and confidence to communicate what they do properly.

Speaking has always been part of the story. From early Guildhall and LAMDA awards to radio, podcasts, workshops and on-camera work today.
Where I speak
My work is rooted in real communication, not just content planning.
I deliver social media workshops for businesses and organisations, helping people understand how to show up online with more clarity and less panic.
I present the Saturday morning show on Dune Radio, where I talk about local stories, business, confidence, community and the conversations that shape Southport.
I also host The Big Onion Radio, broadcast on Dune Radio every Wednesday during drive time, speaking with people across Sefton about community, business and local issues.
Alongside this, I host A Day in the Life podcast, recorded at Studio Nine, where guests sit on the green couch to share their work, their story, and the moments that shaped them.

Written Communication
Communication is not just about speaking.
A huge part of my work also sits within written storytelling through Southport’s Journey Magazine, an independent community magazine focused on people, place, business and real local voices across Sefton.
The magazine was created to give local writers, creatives, businesses and organisations a platform to be seen, heard and published professionally.
Alongside established contributors, we also work closely with local schools and education projects to help young people gain early industry experience in writing, journalism, interviewing and editorial storytelling.
For many young writers, it is the first time seeing their work published publicly. Which, frankly, is both exciting and terrifying. The foundation of most creative careers, really.
Through Studio Nine and Southport’s Journey, communication is approached in every form. Spoken, written, visual and personal.
Why this matters
I do not teach visibility from theory.
I speak on camera.
I speak on radio.
I interview people.
I present workshops.
I write for audiences.
I build platforms from the ground up.
That means when I work with a business, I understand the nerves, the structure, the message, and the pressure of being seen.
Studio Nine helps people stop hiding behind vague content and start communicating with more confidence, clarity and purpose.
